- In like a lion – start a clutter clean up like the lioness you are! Overstuffed shoe racks, hear me roar!
- Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a family reading of one his books.
- Do something nice for yourself today – soak a little too long in the tub with a book, buy your favorite beverage, or browse a bookstore.
- Tell your kids a story about something embarrassing you did at their age. Laugh together.
- Knock one pesky task off your to-do list. Rinse. Repeat.
- Write a long letter to an elderly relative.
- File or shred at least 10 papers today.
- Compliment someone you don’t know today.
- Refer to your barista or waiter by name. Ask how their day is going.
- Choose some fun activities you can do as a family over spring break.
- Schedule any needed childcare for spring break now.
- Buy some cabbage and corn beef for St. Patrick’s Day.
- Make sure you’re getting enough sleep. If not, set yourself up for better rest.
- Daylight Saving Time begins today.
- Enjoy the last Tuesday of winter!
- Try a new way of styling your hair. If it doesn’t work, just shampoo and start over.
- Kiss your favorite Irish person today!
- Try hot cocoa with some added peppermint or coconut creamer or extract.
- Bid farewell to winter in your favorite warm PJ’s.
- Spring has sprung! Celebrate with some favorite spring foods – asparagus, ham, artichokes…
- Express your gratitude for all the blessings in your life.
- Take the ouch out of next Monday by determining what frazzles you the most – getting up early again, skipping breakfast, choosing an outfit…
- Thank the next military member you see for his or her service to our country.
- Will you ever really watch those VHS movies? Use an online swap service to get DVD’s.
- Research a science question online with your child. Finally answer why the sky is blue, or how caterpillars turn into butterflies.
- Surprise your husband with a date night, even if it’s at home after the kids are asleep.
- Read the story of Jesus’ last days with your teenagers.
- Color with your little one today. Don’t worry about staying in the lines.
- Make a list of your favorite memories from your first 29 years.
- Give your child a back or foot massage.
- Out like a lamb – spend a quiet day at home – in your PJ’s if possible.
