Memorial Park
Palmer Park
Jared Jenson Park

America the Beautiful Park - especially the "spinny" things - at least, that's why my kids call them!

There is a little drive involved but Pueblo City Park is the best especially in the summer, there is a small zoo there and if you go in the evening there are amusement park rides that are only 25 cents to ride the rides are only open in the evening during the summer months, but it is worth the drive for cheap fun for the kids and adults too. It also has a nice playground near the rides that is always year round fun! Memorial Park is nice, America the Beautiful Park too my niece calls it" the crazy park" because of the odd shapes some of the playground equipment has.

Here's what I've been hearing: Manizoo in Manitou's Memorial Park, Bancroft Park in Old Colorado City, Memorial Park in Colorado Springs, Palmer Park, Jared Jenson Park, America the Beautiful Park, Pueblo City Park, Manitou Springs Elementary School playground and please help me out on this last one, the park at the corner of Dublin and Austin Bluffs Parkway? Does anyone know what this is referring too? Give me your vote on any of these or add one of your own. Thanks.

Hey, I think the park that was referred to as being at Dublin and Austin Bluffs was probably Cottonwood Creek Park at Dublin and Rangewood. Anyone recommend this park?

This winter we spent a lot of times at Focus on the Family. They have a fabulous underground playground with part of an old airplane, big and small slides, puppet theatre and more. It is open to anyone of any religion (I'm catholic) and my boys spend hours there. They have a small kiddie restaurant as well but if you have your own lunch, you can just ask to use one of their tables.

For some reason I am blanking on the name of the park, but it is on Uintah and 22nd street. There are always parents there to chat with, they have a bit of each type of equipment - slides, sand, climbing, swings and imagination play. In the summer there is lots of shade! And you can bring a picnic from Cy's hamburger stand just up the street which serves meat from Ranch Foods Direct.

You can't beat Soda Springs Park in Manitou Springs. The equipment is for all ages with a really fun Rock N Cross and swings big enough to hold several kids. Plus parents can sit out of the sun in the nearby pavilion or on the seat wall. Not to mention parents can enjoy the farmer's markets and other activities while only steps away from their kids playing on the equipment
