The IRS stipulates donating what is considered "good." I also use freecycle.org and on twitter there is freelisthouston. This way we are getting things out to the universe where they can bless others.

Need a preschool on the north side of Colorado Springs? This one offers MWF care from 9-1. You can enroll one, two, or all three days. My daughter loved it and went from 7 mos. till Kindergarten!

As moms we always put others before ourselves! I have to say I find that Self Management is the hardest challenge for me! I share with my clients "put your own oxygen mask on first," and try to remember that for myself too!

Family Manager’s Prayer
Based on Proverbs 31:10-31

I desire to be a woman of generous character
and to be of great credit to my family.
May I be found faithful in all I do this season,
and may my family trust me without reservation.
May I treat them graciously, never spitefully or impatiently,
each and every day.
As I seek You first every morning, help me sort through my myriad responsibilities and begin each day organized, not frazzled,
ready to accomplish the tasks you set before me and gladly serve
those who are counting on me.
Help me use my God-given skills and talents
to manage and prosper my household.
Strengthen me to do the work you have called me to do
inside and outside my home.
May I sense my work’s value, enjoy its rewards,
and continue to hone my skills in all I do.
May I manage resources and assets wisely
so as to provide for my family and face the future with a smile.
May I be quick to lend a hand to those less fortunate.
May my competence in whatever I do
reflect well on my family’s reputation,
and the strength and dignity of my character
expand our influence in ways that bring glory to you.
May I speak with wisdom and kindness,
and always have something worthwhile to say.
May I manage the affairs of my household well
and live an industrious, productive life,
taking time to care of myself so that I will have plenty to give to others.
May I live a life that is worthy of my family’s praise,
and enjoy their appreciation.
But most of all, in any wealth I earn, in any admiration and praise I receive, and in any recognition and influence I enjoy,
may I acknowledge you as Lord and the source of my life.
May any praise I receive bring praise and honor to you.
