Pikes Peak Parent

Thursday January 14th, 11:00

This is a mom and baby (moms carrying their little ones in front or backpacks) hike in Williams Canyon, up in the northern hills outside of Manitou Springs. The hike is a 2.5-3 mile hike with a gradual incline and a couple of larger hills. A very beautiful hike in a remote area. We will hike to a small waterfall and return the way we came. Depending on the weather, the falls may be running or frozen, but either way this is a pretty hike, where beautiful caves and rock formations are spotted.

Parking can be a challenge in this area, so once we know how many folks are planning on coming I will update with a clear parking plan. Please RSVP at the Facebook Group: Colorado Mountain Mamas - Colorado Springs

Hi Kelly, thanks for the info. I'll help get the word out through my blog as well.
I also wanted to invite you to respond to one of our discussions, Beating the Winter Blues. We're hoping to get some ideas and stories from our members. Some of them will appear in our February edition of Pikes Peak Parent magazine. If you have pictures, we welcome them too!
I thought you or others from your group might have some great experiences to share.
