Pitfalls of being in my 40's

Excellent!

No, this isn't a blog about Wayne's World expressions. Rather, I'd like to get your feedback on excellence. What does excellence in parenting look like? What brings about excellence?


As a student in a leadership class at a Christian university, we are discussing excellence. Coincidentally, this was our topic in church today.


I believe that excellence comes from meaning more than it does money. From relationships more than rules.

Home Sweet Home?

Unless you have reason to drive near Fountain Creek, perhaps on your way to dinner or a show downtown, you might not think about Colorado Springs' "tent city" very often. As I write this, Valentine's Day is in full swing. The shelves at a local mass merchandiser were picked over as I made my way to the pet aisle to pick up Bo's food on sale (with a $3 coupon, to boot).
