In addition to school supply sales being in full swing, I am also preparing for my teen's ACL replacement and celebrating my husband's new job this week. If that wasn't enough, I am (happily) working with a relocating couple on a tight time line. In four short weeks, both of my girls will be back in school. For some of us, that means the crazy (not lazy!) days of summer will be over. For those of us with kids in multiple schools, the craziness will begin anew, with uniforms and new notebooks instead of swimsuits and Wii games.

I celebrated my birthday last Thursday, and today we celebrate my husband's. Worth celebrating, too, is the job offer he has received after more than two years of being a furloughed pilot. While he won't be in the aviation industry, we are thrilled. Putting a suit on each day will be a welcome change.
Because he was a part-time and then full-time student in the months prior to working for an airline for 90 days, my husband did not qualify for unemployment benefits. The record n
