Pop Tarts vs Toaster Strudel

So I was reading my latest Cooking Light magazine, and there was a series of advertisements that really caught my eye.

They were all about kids food and comparing one product to another, in terms of fat/calories and the dreaded TRANS FATS.

Like, I never thought of a Pop Tart as being healthier (less junky?) than a Toaster Strudel. But the baked Pop Tart is lower in fat and has NO trans fat, versus 1 g of Trans Fat in the fried strudel.

Frog and Toad - Best KCIC I've seen so far!

We really enjoyed Frog and Toad last night. Wish I'd taken some pics but I was wiped out!

The actors did a great job and my kids wanted to stand in the LONG line for autographs afterward.

Besides Frog and Toad, Snail was their favorite - he was hilarious!

3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 pkg. (10 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallows or 1 pkg. (10-1/2 oz.) JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

Ice rinks in the Springs

There used to be a great ice rink at the Chapel Hills mall. With that one gone, my family was recently looking into where to go for some ice skating fun!
