Pikes Peak Parent

Just two weeks ago, I asked blog readers to join me in praying and donating to the orphans needing our help in Haiti. I am overjoyed to tell you that all three little girls I mentioned are new Colorado Springs residents!
Here are two of the Haitian princesses, with their sister.

Today, my husband and I wait eagerly for a report from a friend, a pediatric anesthesiologist, who traveled to Haiti on Saturday. He has volunteered his services in other countries as well, accompanied by his (extraordinarily gifted) photographer wife.
What gifts have you been given but have failed to share? No matter what your talents or resources are, someone could use your help. Plug in today to a charity which stirs your heart, or just check in on an elderly neighbor. Bake muffins for a family having trouble making ends meet, or offer to let a new mom take an uninterrupted shower. Blessing others doesn't have to cost much in the way of money or time. Sometimes, just showing up says it all.
